While AI corner detection algorithms are highly advanced, they still rely on visual cues from your camera. Follow these simple tips to get a perfect crop every time.
1. Use a Contrasting Background

2. Avoid Angled Shots
Try to hold your phone directly above the document. While our system applies perspective correction, extreme angles can stretch the text and reduce legibility.
3. Smooth Out Folds
Folded or wrinkled paper can confuse corner detection. Smooth out the page as much as possible before uploading. If the auto-crop is slightly off, you can always enter manual crop mode to adjust the points. Go to the Home Page to test it out.
